Music, stories, & puppets weave a magic spell on My Storytime Place.
Children’s librarian Donna Reagan and children’s entertainer Rachel Sumner joined forces to produce a television show for young children called My Storytime Place. Donna worked at the Bellevue Public Library in Nashville, Tennessee, and was known for her interactive story hours for young children. Rachel Sumner is an award-winning recording artist and songwriter for children. She also works as a teaching artist for the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Wolf Trap Early Learning for the Arts, and hosts a radio show called Rachel's Fun Time.
My Storytime Place airs on Access Nashville and on the Music City Arts Channels in 19 counties across middle Tennessee. Scroll down to find the schedule. You can also view it on demand. Just go to the NECAT Network site, click on "view schedule," and search for My Storytime Place.
My Storytime Place features children’s entertainers, educators, and librarians from Nashville Tennessee who strive to encourage the development of language, literacy, and creativity in young children. The show features books, music, puppetry, and finger fingerplays. Target audience: preschool-second grade

Angel also owns the rights to the poetry and music of Mary Lafleur. Mary's song "Come On In' is the theme song for My Storytime Place and poems and songs for children are featured during other segments on the show.

My Storytime Place also has a cast of six young local actors ages 8-12 who appear on the show during the music videos.
